Challenges
-
Continuous site activity: The distribution hub needed to remain operational during works.
-
Weight load requirements: Surfaces had to be engineered for 40+ tonne vehicles.
-
Weather disruption: Heavy rain risked delaying curing times.
Our Solution
To keep the client’s operations running, we phased the works: completing one section at a time so trucks could continue using alternative bays.
We used C40/50 grade reinforced concrete with heavy mesh and dowel bars to achieve long-term durability. Our team applied advanced curing methods and protective sealing to counter the wet weather conditions.
Outcome
-
Seamless operations: Zero disruption to warehouse schedules.
-
Longevity: Surface designed to perform for 20+ years under high load.
-
Safety improved: Clear line marking and level finishes reduced on-site risks.
“CBR Commercials handled the job professionally from start to finish. The yard is now safer, smoother, and built to last.”
